VEW is the pioneer in setting up Liquid Mud Plants i.e. Facility for Drilling Fluid Formulation, Storage & Reconditioning on a Lump Sum Turn-Key (LSTK) basis in India.

We designed, engineered, manufactured, installed & commissioned a 7220 Barrel capacity Liquid Mud Plant (LMP) on a turnkey basis for GSPC at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2006. 

The LMP was constructed on a turnkey basis wherein, complete Civil, Mechanical, Electrical works were undertaken by us. It consists of 21 storage tanks for Base Oil, Synthetic Oil Based Mud, Water Based Mud & 2 Mixing Tanks with agitators along with the auxiliary equipment & accessories& came complete with a sophisticated Instrumentation & Plant Control System & a Fire Protection System.

Earlier, in the year 2004, we had executed our first turnkey project for a 2240 Barrel capacity LMP for NIKO Resources at Hazira, Gujarat. We finished the erection & commissioning of a 2240 Barrel capacity LMP for British Gas at Mumbai, Maharashtra in June 2007.

We completed the setting up a 5200 Barrel capacity LMP in Dec 2008 for ONGC at Nhava, Maharashtra on a turnkey basis through KMC Oil Tools India Pvt. Ltd., who are the Drilling Fluids Engineering Services Providers to ONGC.
All the above contracts for were executed under DNV certification.
